Guidelines for GPF interest updation for FY 2021-22 - reg

Sir/Madam,

Please find below the Guidelines for GPF interest updation for FY 2021-22.

1. The ‘GPF Interest updation’ program would be executed centrally before March’22 payroll live-run in respect of all the eligible employees.
2. Hence, the interest updation program need not be executed at field level.
3. The balance upon completion of the above activity, will be the CB for FY 2021-2022 which is excluding the GPF subscription/advance recovery to be effected in the Payroll of March’2022.
4. The activity is proposed to be carried out between 25.03.2022 (Friday) 18.00hrs and 28.03.2022 (Monday) 06.00hrs i.e., preceding the ‘live Payroll-run’ for March’2022.
5. In view of the above activity, control record will be locked from 7th Mar’22 to 27th Mar’22 EoD in respect of Departmental employees and status will be in ‘Exit for payroll’ – February 2022.
6. The Control record will be enabled on 28.03.2022 (Monday) 06.00hrs for processing payroll for March 2022.
7. DDOs may be instructed to plan off cycle processing accordingly.
