Attention To All DO NOT OPEN OR CLICK ANY TYPE OF LINK OR ATTACHEMENT IF THE EMAIL IS SUSPECTED TO BE SPAM || Instruction Regarding Malicious / Spoof e-Mails

Dear Sir/Madam,

Many instances have come to notice where the email user has unknowingly clicked on the URL link provided in the suspected spam email.

Some sample email content with malicious downloadable file is provided below.

Once the user clicks on the malicious link, a file will be downloaded and added to the browser which sends emails to many users/email id’s without the consent from the user.

In short, the mail Id gets compromised. DONOT OPEN OR CLICK ANY TYPE OF LINK OR ATTACHEMENT IF THE EMAIL IS SUSPECTED TO BE SPAM.

Hence it is reiterated for strict adherence of instructions in the trail email .

In case of reciept of such spam emails, it is requested to send the email as an attachment to the email Id's -

itsecuritycept@indiapost.gov.in ;

email.nodalofficer@indiapost.gov.in

Please don't Click any thing on below mentioned emails either link or attachements. A lot of SPAM/Suspicious mails ar​e being received in the last couple of Days and Team is working on it to block all such emails.
