SOP for SEP (Symantec Endpoint) upgradation in Windows 7 client

As Symantec has declared version 12x as End of life version and no definition will be received thereafter, Symantec AV needed to be upgraded from version 12x to 14x. Please find steps below to upgrade clients.

1. Download package from below mentioned link as per Operating system.

2. For Windows 8 & 10 (32 bit) Install Symantec setup, restart and run Live update only.

3. Installation steps for Windows 7 (32 Bit and 64 bit) process is as follow

Download Upgrade32bit.zip\Upgrade64bit.zip as per OS requirement and right-click on setup and

click extract it.

Steps for Installation of Service Pack

 Install Win7service Pack on double-clicking it or right-click to select option Run as Administrator.

Following screen will appear.
