Removal Of Restrictions On Booking And Transmission Of Unregistered Second-Class Mail Destined To Delhi And Maharashtra Circle • DDG Mails

This has reference to Postal Directorate letter of even no. dated 23/4/2021 and 17/5/2021 regarding restrictions on booking/posting & dispatch of Second-Class Unregistered mail destined for Delhi and Maharashtra Circles as well as routeing of forward bags through TMOs in Delhi and Maharashtra till 31st May, 2021.

2. The matter has been re-examined in view of the improving Covid-19 situation in Delhi and Maharashtra and it has been decided to remove the restrictions on booking and transmission of second-class mail issued vide Postal Directorate letter of even no. dated 23/4/2021.

3. Circles are, therefore, requested to resume the booking and transmission of second-class mail destined for Delhi and Maharashtra Circle.
