Account Number will be 12 Digit in DOP Finacle w.e.f 01.01.2021

Sir / Madam,

Account numbers in Finacle will be of 12 digits from 1st Jan 2021 onwards. First two digits of SB/PPF/SSA accounts will be '01' and other TDA type of accounts (TD/MIS/SCSS etc) will have first two digits as '02'. Account number sequence is common across SOLs, similar to the previous account sequence of 10 digits.

IPPB is aware of the change and have tested their applications with 12 digit accounts.

It is requested to circulate the information to all the Post Offices.
