Sub: Automatic opening and closing of Monthly Posting Period in CSI.

This is to inform that automated opening and closing of Monthly posting period in CS1 system has been effected in CSI from the Month of Sep-2020. The process shall be done in CSI as follows. 

Opening of monthly posting period of the following month shall be done at 06.00pm of the last day of the current month. (i.e., in case opening of posting period of Oct-2020, it shall be opened at 06.00pm on 30.09.2020) 

Closing of monthly period of the current month shall be done at 10.00pm on 5th of the following month. (i.e., in case of closing of Sep-2020 period, it shall be closed at 10.00pm on 05.10.2020). 

The process shall be done automatically. CEPT shall monitor this.

Provision for manual intervention in opening and closing of posting periods is also available subject to the approval of competent authority (PAF Wing). 

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
