Pre procurement Consultation for proposed Data Center Facility and Network System Integrator
Department of Posts plays a crucial role in country’s social economic development. It touches the lives of Indian citizens in many ways viz delivering mails, accepting deposits under Small Savings Schemes, providing Life Insurance cover under Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) and providing retail services like bill collection, sale of forms, etc.
Department of Posts endeavors to achieve this with new innovative, advanced technology landscape and business functions. For the purpose Department of Posts invites Data Centre Service providers, Networking OEMs, Bandwidth Providers and System Integrators with a proven background, for pre procurement consultation for proposed Data Center Facility and Network System Integration.
The consultation shall be undertaken in two stages.:
1. Stage 1
a. Meeting for providing details on Data center Facility and Network system Integrator by the Department of Post – Scheduled 10:30 am onwards on 21st Aug 2020
b. Participants having any feedback/suggestions can share to the below mentioned email id by 27
th of Aug, 2020.
2. Stage 2 :
a. Meeting for Data Center Facility where vendor/service provider can participate and provide feedback/ suggestions – Scheduled 10:30 am onwards on 28th Aug 2020
b. Meeting for Network System Integrator where OEM/vendor/service provider can participate and provide feedback/ suggestions – Scheduled 10:30 am onwards on 31st Aug 2020
Communication protocol:
1. Registration: For registration for participating in the 1st session, interested participants to share
the following details in excel format to the below mentioned mail ID.
2.Share the details at programoffice@indiapost.gov.in
3. Entry in the meeting (virtual) shall only be through the invitation by DoP to the registered participants which will be shared through registered mail IDs.
4. Changes in the schedule, if any, will be notified in the website only. Hence Interested vendors are requested to follow the website.
