How to Delete Old Windows Update Files

Window Update safeguard the PC from Viruses and other Malware activities, prevent the system from  Crashes. Hence, the updation of windows is mandatory and running latest version of operating system is more safer.

But there is still one part of Windows Update that needs your attention: the old files that are left behind. They can take up a lot of space. We should check the same ourself to ensure the unwanted use of System Space.

How to Delete Old Windows Update Files?

1. Open the Start menu, type Control Panel, and press Enter.
2. Go to Administrative Tools.
3. Double-click on Disk Cleanup.
4. Select Clean up system files.
5. Mark the checkbox next to Windows Update Cleanup.
6. If available, you can also mark the checkbox next to Previous Windows installations. Doing so will delete the Windows.old file.
7. Click OK.
8. Wait for Windows to complete the uninstallation process.
