This has reference to Postal Directorate letter referred above issueing thereby insutructions to the Circles not to accept booking of non-essential articles from e-commerce companies and second class mail, particularly, Registered News Paper for delivery in Delhi & Mumbai.
Maharastra Circle has however reported that still a large number of eCommerce articles are being booked by the Bulk/BNPL offices for delivery in Mumber. Mumbai is facing difficulties delivery of articles due to COVID19 situation in the city. Essential articles booked by e-Commerce comparies are however, being delivered in the city.

Circles are therefore, once again requested to follow the instructions issued vide leter of even no. dated 10/06/2020 regarding not booking of non-essential Bulk / BNPL articles and Second class articles for Delhi and Mumbai.
