Many of our postal employees while in service have lost their lives due to the Corono since they have been performed duties during the lockdown period by taking the risks and their families are under great loss.
The compensation of Rs.10 lakhs will not be a perennial remedy and the ward of the deceased official shall be granted a job immediately without any formalities so that their dedicated service during the lockdown period is recognized. The process of the employment to the ward to be completed within one- or two-months' time and the family shall be provided immediate relief with a job to the ward as a token of respect to the service he rendered to the Department.
It is requested to kindly take up the case with the Department immediately and see the proposal is getting sanctioned.
