Sub: Processing of Registered Packets at Parcel Hubs—reg.

This is with reference to the issue raised by some of the Circle regarding processing of RPs at Parcel Hubs.

2. It has been confirmed by CEPT that following provisions in the CSI system have been made for processing of (RPs) in Parcel Hubs:-
(a) RP bags can be received and opened in Parcel Hubs.
(b) RPs can be included in Parcel bags for closing. Hence, for all purposes, RPs can be treated in a way similar to parcels.

 3. Circles are requested to issue necessary directions to all parcel hubs to use these provisions. If any issue is noticed, the same may be informed to CEPT under intimation to this office.
