PLI-RPLI : Implementation of SBI NACH facility for collection of PLI RPLI premia

Sub: Implementation of SBI NACH facility for collection of PLI/RPLI renewal premia-reg 

PLI Directorate is in process of implementation of National Automated Clearing House facility (NACH) through FAST Plus Portal of State Bank of India, for collection of PLI/RPLI renewal premia from the Bank accounts of the PLI/RPLI insurants as per Standing Instructions given by the Insurant. Insurant will be required to submit a NACH mandate registration form in POs, which will be processed in all PLI-CPCs PAN India. As per mandate given, a one time registration fee of Rs. 25/-per mandate will be deducted by SBI from the customer's bank account directly. A brief overview of the process to be followed is enclosed at 'Annexure-A'. Detailed SOP will follow closer to estimated deployment time by end of Aug-2020. 

2. These mandate forms will then have to be submitted to SW through the SW FAST Plus portal by CPCs. User credentials for the users of PLI CPCs/HOs are required to be created on the above for this purpose. 3. The user role and assigned activities of each role in the mandate management system are as under:-

Checker (Approver-APM/DPM of Accounts Branch in HO/Postmaster, Sr. Postmaster, Dy. Chief in GPO, Asst. Director in NDHO, Mumbai GPO, . Koikata GPO)

Mandate Management System Activities  Scanned Mandate Registration/Cancellation: Maker scans and uploads Mandates for Registration or Cancellation. Reports and Enquiries: view/Download facility of MIS of Mandate Registration and Transaction are available for this User.  Scanned Mandate Registration/Cancellation: Approvers approves/rejects records of Mandates Registration or Cancellation. Reports and Enquires: View/Download facility of MIS of Mandate Registration and Transaction are available for this User. 

4. FAST-7 form (attached as Annexure-B) along with KYC documents of the users of the officials designated / assigned with the above role are required for creation of User Ids for SBI portal for processing for NACH Registration/Cancellation of Mandate. Also the data as per 'Annexure-C' is also required for the purpose. 5. The requisite information as requested above may kindly be sent to this Directorate by 19th June 2020. As the functionality is to be deployed before the FSI contract ends, it is imperative that Circles respond with the necessary pr requisite without delay.
