IE Settings with Java JRE 7u17 for Finacle

Some of the menu options of Finacle are not properly working in Windows 10 OS. Those menu options which are not working in Jre 7u21 are working in Jre 7u17 To ease the task of uninstalling Jre 7u21 and installing Jre 7u17, this tool, almost automated process intended for use in Windows 10 system. However, this is proved fine in Windows 7 also.

Download IESettings_SRFix_2020.exe. Run this application with option Run as Administrator

This will extract the required files to : C:\IESettings_SRFix

How this will work?

Internet options will be reset. You need to click on Reset button and Close button as required.

This will uninstall any version of Java installed.

Sun folder from path: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\LocalLow\ will be removed

Java JRE 7u17 installed silently.

You need to configure the MTU value through MTUSet application.

hosts file in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc updated.

FMenu installed.

Passbook form created for enabling Passbook Printer setup.

IE Settings required for Finacle/McCamish/IPPB/WUMT installed through BRIE.exe Here, your intervention is needed.

After system restart, you need to configure Java control panel settings.

This is automated process. So leave the process to be completed without closing the Cmd Window.

Once installation is completed, system will restart.

Important Java Control Panel Settings

a. Uncheck Check for updates Automatically.

b. Set the security level to medium

Advanced Tab:

c. Shortcut creation-never allow

d. Application installation-Never install

e. JNLP Association-Never Allow

f. JRE Auto Download-Never Auto download

g. Mixed Code-Disable verification
