Expanding The CSC Services To Upto The Norm Based LSG Post Office | DO Letter

Government of India Ministry of Communications Department of Posts Dak Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 

This is regarding delivery of citizen centric services from Post Offices which has started from 22 Post Offices on 4.5.2020. As per the recommendations of the Group of Secretaries, to the Cabinet Secretariat, it is planned to expand this to 6000 Post Offices (up to norm based LSG level).

2. The pilot has reflected successful accounting of any transaction through the Wallet in CSI and small teething problems are getting rectified also. 

3. In order to on board other Post offices, it is proposed to create Circle-wise Sub Admins for User Management of operators within each Circle. The details of identified Circle Admins, who had attended the training at PTC, Mysuru may be forwarded in the pro forma attached. 

4. In addition, the list of offices and the specific counter, including the operator's details may kindly be kept ready in the same format as mentioned in para 3 above, as they would be required for on boarding these offices for discharging CSC services from POs. 

5. A soft copy of the list of Offices and Operators may be sent to Directorate for information, by 26.5.2020.
