Booking of Speed Post Parcels in CSI system
This is regarding correct identification of Speed Post Parcels in CSI System at the time of booking. In this regard, reference is invited to MD division letter no.30-01/2020-D dated 04.06.220 vide which the circles have been requested to encourage customers to book medicines and medical equipment under Speed Post to ensure timely delivery of the articles. Roll out of POS 4.2 released on 02.06.2020 may be referred vide which Speed Post Parcel has been introduced in Point of sale Software.
As per MB division letter under reference, since the booking of medicines / medical equipment parcels has been advised to be done under Speed post, booking offices must be strictly advised to select merchandise option available in POS Screen at the time of booking of all such articles as Speed Post to ensure correct and categorisation of articles as parcels or otherwise
