Instructions to all Post Offices to "Avoid Printing of LOTs " - DOP Instructions

All Head of Circles/Regions Sub: Printing of list of tran.ctions (LOTs) by various Post Offices-reg. Madam/Sir.

Kindly refer to SB Order 14/2015 dated 19.10.2015 by which instructions were ism,. for not printing list of transactions (LOTs) for POSB schemes at the closing of counter hours by the post offices. Post office would instead seal the vouchers along with concern scheme consolidation journal and transfer the same to HO/SBCO. After receipt of consolidation journal, SBCO would generate LOTs in MIS server and tally with respective vouchers.

It has come to notice that SBCO is still insisting on physical LOTS in many circles. These LOTs are being printed by. the , offices on daily basis in complete disregard of SB Order 14/2015 resulting in wastage of paper. manpower and incurring avoidable expenditure. It is requested to review position in your circle in light of above instructions and avoid printing of LOTs by the post offices.
