NFPE Letters to Secretary Posts about Treatment of period of absence and drawal of salary / wages vide letter dated 17th April 2020.
DOPT and Directorate has issued instructions to make payment of salary and wages to all employees, GDS, Casual labourers, DRM & OPDS for the period of lockdown.
But at lower level officers are violating these instructions
It is therefore, requested to kindly casue suitable instructions to all concerned not to deduct salary of any class of employees for this period. The period of absense should be decided either as duty or grant of special leave as per instructions issued by DoPT.
