Subject : Verification of membership of Service Association representing Gramin Dak Sevak(GDS) for recognition under EDS Rules, 1995 in Department of Posts - Calling of Application regarding
With reference to the Department's letter nos.13-02/2010-SR dated 15.04.2011 and no.13-01/2016-SR dated 03.10.2019, it has been decided to resume the verification of service association representing Gramin Dak Sevaks(GDS) for recofnition under EDS (RA) Rules, 1995 in order to have a fresh panel of recognized GDS Associations.
2. All GDS Associations intending to participate in the verification process for recognition should submit their application alongwith the following documents to SR section of the Department latest by 31 March, 2020
- Memorandum of Associations,
- Constitution/by-laws of the Associations,
- List of Office Bearers and,
- Estimated membership of the Associations.
3. All Heads of circles/Regional Postmasters General & CDS Associations are r€quested to give wide publicity of this Office Memorandum.
