Regarding Maintenance Of Postal Services in Operative offices , Administrative Offices in Navi Mumbai Region during lockout period till 14.04.2020. || PMG Navi Mumbai Region

Sub:- Regarding maintenance of Postal Services in Operative offices , Administrative Offices in Navi Mumbai Region during lockout period till 14.04.2020.

The PMG Navi Mumbai in pursuance of instructions issued by the Postal Directorate letter No.Z-92011/ 25/ 2020/ O&M dated 24.3.2020 , and Circle Office has directed to inform you that:-

1. That all Branch Post Offices may be kept opened .

2. And Head Post Office may be kept opened daily. 

3. At least 50% Sub Post Offices may be kept opened depending on the local situation. 

4. All IPPB branches may be kept opened. 

5. Regional Office, Divisional offices and Sub Divisional Offices may be kept opened. 

6. To cater to the requirements of POSB and IPPB customers, arrangements may be made with Banks for supply of adequate cash. 

7. ATMs may be made operational loaded with adequate cash. 

8. SIFY may be requested to provide uninterrupted network services so that CBS anywhere banking services are available. 

9. Branch Post Offices should work on CBS Darpan App and IPPB App using devices.

10. The required staff should be assigned duties by rotation without bias towards anybody.

11. All staff deployed for duties should adopt adequate safeguard measures to protect themselves and others from spread of Corona virus Covid-19 as per safety instructions given from time to time. 

12. The staff may be permitted to purchase masks and sanitizers on their own, which may be reimbursed upto the limit of Rs.200/- once during the period.

13. Liaison may be made with the local District Administration for issuing passes for the Deptl.staff as well as outsourced staff.

14. Delivery arrangements may be made for limited delivery by Postman, GDS and Window delivery for the mails available in the POs and local mails booked on the counter.

15. Copy of the orders issued may be sent to R.O. through Email and to PMG by WhatsApp by today evening.
