Ministry of Finanace added Customs Department in Essential Service

Ministry of Home affairs No.40-3/2020/DM-I(A) dated 24.03.2020 under section 10(2)(I) of the disaster Management act.

I would like to bring your notice that continued operations of Customs formations is essential from the viewpoint of preventing any disruption in export and import goods including those required for maintaining continued supply of essential goods and services within the country.

Therefore, I would request you to add "Customs" in the exceptions under paragraph I of the Guideline referred above.
