An update about Postal and Delivery System in China - COVID 2019

The State Post Bureau has announced that postal and delivery services in China are expected to fully recover from the onslaught of the novel corona virus and resume full operations by mid-March, except for in the virus epicenter of Hubei province, reports Yicai Global. 

Nearly 3 million staff have returned to work by now in the sector, making up 90.2 % of the workforce. They are delivering 160 million packages per day as capacity reaches 80 % of normal, Liu Jun, the bureau’s deputy director, said at the press conference.

The State Post Bureau is the government agency that regulates China Post.
