AICPIN for the month of November 2019 – Press Release expected to be released tomorrow by the Department of Labour Bureau.
As per the advance calendar, the statistics of All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) for the month of November 2019 may be published on 31st December 2019 by the Labour Bureau. The below table denoted the date of publishing AICPIN in advance.

DA Calculation from 1.1.2020
The index is an important element to determine the percentage of Dearness allowance (DA) to Government employees with effect from 1.1.2020. To finalize the additional percentage of Dearness allowance (DA and DR) from January 2020 to CG employees and pensioners, need 6 months’ AICPIN form July to December 2019. Centre already released the data for the months from July to October. And for the 5th month of November data will be published tomorrow.
