SENSITISATION MEETING REGARDING INDIA POST PAYMENTS BANK HELD AT SHEIKH UL AALAM HALL DC OFFICE BUDGAM

The meeting was presided over by Asstt. Commissioner Revenue Budgam Mr. Mohammed Zafar Shawl and was attended by a galaxy of stakeholders and public representatives and social workers.

Sh. Syed Roouf Ahmad, Asstt. Supdtt. Posts HQ srinagar welcomed the participanrs.

Sh. B. L. Pandita, Sr. supdtt of Post offices Srinagar Division addressed the gathering and highlighted the various features of the IPPB.

The Asst. Commissioner Revenue lauded the efforts of the Department of Posts for bringing the revolutionary concept of doorstep banking for the benefit of the last person in the line if social strata. He expressed optimism that the IPPB shall be able to achieve the goal of financial inclusion and wished the IPPB a success.He asked the participants to take benefit of the products of the IPPB.

A PowerPoint presentation on the various aspects of the IPPB was given by Sh. Vikas Gupta, Branch Manager, IPPB Srinagar. The meeting saw an interactive session where the participants actively interacted.
