GDS Pay Committee Recommendations : Put off Duty

The Committee feels that there should be restriction in the powers if Sub -Divisional Heads to put off Duty.

The Committee recommend the the increase the quantum of exgratia payment to GDS during the period of put off duty from 25 % to 50 % of wages and DA.

The Committee noticed that Director of Postal Services reviews all the put off cases and hence there is no need to constitute a seperate divisional committee to review the put off cases at the divisional level.

The committee has recommended transfer on the administrative / Vigilance ground.
