Scanner Configuration in RICOH Copier

Connect the Copier to the router of Sify Network and Configure IP Addresses in the RICOH Copier like Desktop PCs in same sequence.

1. Click on User Tools / Counter in RICOH Copier >System Settings >Interface settings >

Machine IP Address
Gateway Address
DNS address
Click ok for applying the changes in the Copier. 

2. Please confirm the changes by using below options in Printer Network settings of the RICOH Copier.

• User Tools / Counter in RICOH Copier >System Settings >Interface settings >
• Print I/F Settings List.

Settings for Computer:

• Computer should be connected with same network and should be password protected for local user.Like shown in below

User Name : Admin
Password : 123456

• Create a New Folder on Drive in  Mycomputer, use short name for easy accessibility. The same should be shared with full permission for the available local user(i.e Admin).

Test the Connectivity between Computer and Copier:

Testing of network connectivity by using the PING Command.

Open Command prompt as Administrator and Type Ping then enter IP address of the RIOCH Copier then press enter to know the status.

• The same can be done by using the below option in the RICOH Copier to ensure the connectivity status of PC.

User Tools / Counter > System Settings > Interface settings > Network > Ping Command >

Configuration of Web Image Monitoring:

Follow the below Steps to configure Address book via WEB IMAGE MONITOR

Follow the steps specified in the self explanatory images and do the  configuration in web image monitor.

• Once the above Process has been completed then we can fetch the location in RICOH Copier from the SEARCH DESTINATION.
• Then Press Start to Scan the documents. Finally you can Save the Document by Pressing # button available on the RIOCH Copier in the configured format PDF/TIFF file.
