Respected Sir/Madam
Due to Interest Calculation and Interest Posting in Savings, PPF and SSA Accounts on the night of 31st March 2016, CBS Post Offices would not do any transaction on 1st April 2016 and transaction can be started on 2nd April 2016 only after getting instructions from CEPT Chennai Team only. However, staff of CBS Post Offices will remain on duty on both 1st and 2nd April 2016 and continue to watch instructions from CEPT Team.
The message should be properly displayed in the counter area for the information of general public and agents.
