Data Migration Tool v4.8

Features of this tool:

This DM Utility is designed to incorporate BO CSI ID in Finacle. The process is as follows: 

1. A BO Mapping updation tool will be available in the Tool link shared by DMCC.
2. POs should take backup of the BPRO,BPLOG,POST, SIGN, MDE and MDE_SIGN databases and restore the same in a backup machine.

The BO mapping updation tool should be installed in the BACKUPMACHINE ONLY. Replace the bomappingupdationtool.exe and csibo.mdb in tool folder(C:\Program Files\EFMS-SP Comparison Tool) 

• Please use this tool in backup machine only as configuration level changes happens in Sanchay post tables.
• Use the update to SQL 2005 option available in the DBAnalyser>>DB Utilities option to upgrade all the databases
• POs to map the BOs using the BO mapping updation tool (Procedure document attached)
• If any difference is noticed during updation of tool in the BOnames (name issue, BO left out, BO excess in CSI) the same should be intimated to dmccbomapping@gmail.com immediately for solution.

1. This exercise is to be done well before Go Live date as any changes in BO has to be corrected in the master data. Without updating the master data, DM Tool will not get executed during Go Live. Due to paucity of time and criticality, BO updation in the master database would not be possible during go live which might result in dropping of that office. Hence all the POs scheduled for migration may kindly be instructed to complete this BO mapping exercise in Backup machine and ensure the correctness of BO well in advance before the go live date.
2. On completion of BO mapping, it is advisable to complete mock migration to ensure DM Tool gets executed correctly.

Mock Migration: 

• Once the BO mapping is completed, the mock migration of the PO should be done with the current version of DM Tool available as the BO mapping exercise is incorporated in the tool. Copy the bomap.zip file in the DMUtility folder before running the tool.
• Select the Mock migration option (M) while running the DM Utility
• If there is any issue in the BO mapping then an error message will be popped up with a messge “press any key to continue”.
• The tool will proceed even if there is issue in BO Mapping case of mock migration, At the end of the tool, the error file boerror.txt will be available in the following path: DTutility_v4.8\SPTool_All\OUTPUT_PONAME\PONAME_Logs_timestamp. The same should be forwarded to dmccbomapping@gmail.com in case if any error is reported in BO mapping.
