Non Receipt of Electronic Data at Delivery offices
Reasons:
- Booking information is not available with Central Server.
- Booking information is available with Server, but the article is booked as a non-COD Parcel.
- The Delivery Post Office is not upgraded to Meghdoot 7.9.2 or 7.9.3
- The COD article was already received by some other office and returns taken by that office as “Returned to Sender”
- RNet Communication is not upgraded properly or Network problem in Post Office
Non transmission of delivery amount for payment
Reasons:
- The biller is not created as a Parcel COD Billers.
- BO Verification not done
- ePayment is not upgraded.
- ePayment Registered machine has been changed & the communication has been sent from the changed machine
- ePayment Communication has been done using the Data Card.
Poor awareness OR deliberate non implementation of the correct process.
- For COD, both physical and electronic transmission should match
- Any mistake on the part of one office has impact on the subsequent offices in the service chain
- The process defined should be strictly followed by booking, transmission, delivery and payment offices
