Installation and configuration :-

1. Download both the files above

2. Extract and run whole setup to install.

3. Replace the latest exe in program files folder

4. Install MS SQL Server if you not already done.

(MS SQL Server 2005 or above only works for Difference View, However you can use lower versions without using Difference view option).

5. Go to File -> Configure Enter SQL Server name and sa password, click save button.configure both HODB Server name, and SODB Servername.

This is reporting tool only. It does not make any changes in database.

It is recommended to use separate system for this work. Differences view will not work if you are using different server systems or lower version of MS SQL Server.

How to work:-

1. Restore the backup of POST database of Sub- office and the corresponding SOSB database for that particular SO using SQL Server Management studio. 

2. Enter HO DB name (SOSB database), SO DB name (SO Post database).

3. Click Fix button.

4. Set cut off date as 01/04/2012 or anything before the restored database backup date.

5. Now, Enter the account number that has difference / that is you want to view the ledger.

6. Click Fetch button to view the ledger.

You can also limit the view to Interest Only, Except Interest using the Filter button.

7. Click Differences button to view the differences

8. Click view LOT to view and compare the List of Transaction of HO and SO for a particular date.

9. PB View (Passbook view) can be used to view the current accounts status, type etc.,
