INVENTORY MOVEMENT IN INDIA POST
Inventory movement in DOP Finacle will be done in two stages i.e.,
- Inventory movement from the external source(CSD in DOP terminology) to double lock ( Safe custody such as Treasury in DOP terminology)
- Inventory movement from double lock to employee(supervisor)
NSC/Cheque Books:
To move the CSD supply into FINACLE Double Lock:

will enter the NSC stock into FINACLE

To –DL To – DL
Go to Searcher, select the type of certificate .
NS8 or NS9 and the corresponding denomination.
Ø
Then
enter the “From certificate Alpha serial” and no. of certificates.
Ø
Validate.
Ø
System
will automatically enter the “To certificate Alpha serial”
Ø
Then
submit.
Ø
Tran id
will be generated. Note that tran id. (only number without IN prefix)

Authorization by the other Supervisor:

the tran id.

Select verify. And enter the tran id.

Go to Authorizer tab.

Submit.

NSCs are brought into FINACLE Double Lock.

To give stock to the Counter:

Ø Select
Add. Then go to Searcher.
Ø Select
the denomination of certificate and manually change the number of
certificates to be issued to the counter.
Ø Validate.
Ø Then
Submit.
Ø Note
the tran id.
Here
also the other Supervisor should verify and authorize the tran.

Short Note about DOP Inventory
- Enter the from location Class as "ZZ"
- Enter the from location Code ad "EXT"
- Enter the To Location Class as "DL"
- Enter the To Location Code as "DL"
